Fall Forum 1998

Democracy and Equity, Demonstration and Documentation, Collaboration and Critical Friendship: Priorities for Building the Schools We Need

Thursday, November 5, 5:50 PM to Saturday, November 7, 3:30 PM (local times) Kansas City, Missouri

For more information see the official web page http://www.ces.brown.edu/FForum/ffcallindex.htm

The 1998 Fall Forum is intended to foster focused conversation on the three priority areas our National Congress has challenged CES to work on: promoting democracy and equity in our schools, demonstrating and documenting the ways in which the Common Principles have helped our students learn to use their minds well, and striving to deepen our efforts at collaboration and critical friendship on all levels of our work. For each area of focus, we have formulated a few essential questions. Presenters may adopt these questions as an organizing tool or devise their own essential questions.
